PB2A Parts 1&2: Communication

Communication is a necessity that is becoming more and more prominent in today's world. People communicate with so many people and they use their communication skills as a way to voice opinions and ideas. Everyone needs to build these skills in order to become successful. Today's workers should be aware of all the communication skills that we use on a daily basis and all should build upon those skills. As a communication major, I should be building on the basic communication skills and be able to link those skills to organizations around the world. I hope to become take my skills to the business world in either music or sports management. I plan to collaborate with Professor  Diane Mitnick  in order to delve deeper into the skills needed to be a great collaborator in the modern world. Her main interest include...

The topic that interest me the most is public relations. Public Relations is the professional maintenance of a favorable public image by a company or other organization or a famous person (Dictionary). This most interest me because it is directly connected to those who wish to send out the information. We get to control what is put out and advertised to the world and work hand in hand with the distributer and receiver. I hope to become more informed with how, as distributers, we can put our mark on what people see.
